Dubai Sevens Rugby 2014

We had a ball at the Dubai Sevens! We arrived at the stadium well in advance to collect our tickets and stood there a while before the gates opened. Once we were security checked, our day of sun and fun had begun. We quickly changed our money for food vouchers before the rush and long lines are messing up our day. We had a great cup of coffee at Costa and went to look for a place to spent the majority of the day.

South Africa played the first game of the tournament and it was South African flags all over. We were very proud of the boys especially for winning the whole tournament. A highlight every year is the people dressing up in ridiculously funny costumes. Below is a few of the costumes we saw during our day.

We enjoyed every minute, even our bus ride filled with Russians on our way to our hotel.
It was another successful weekend in Dubai!

Camping on the beach

The fun part of camping in Oman is that you can basically camp anywhere where there is an open spot. So we've decided to go and camp right on the beach. It about 2 and half hours drive from where we live. This beautiful place is called Al Sifa and it's surrounded by majestic mountains on the one side and the calm and beautiful sea on the other. With no facilities or shops close by, you can relax completely and forget about everything.

After camping we went to an estate to see how the rich and famous enjoys Oman
