South Africa in Sohar

I've been living in Oman for 7 months now. It's been 7 months away from my home country South Africa. Once you are away from all the familiar things around you,  you realise that nothing is better than home!

Luckily we get some taste of home through some shops that sell South African produce. One of the only shops in Sohar that sell these products are Carrefour. We are lucky to get blatjan (chutney) Ouma beskuit (rusks) and some frozen produce. Some fruit products are also available: apples, pears, grapes, plums and nectarine.  Handpicked by our fellow Saffas in South Africa.
